Who we are

What we collect

When you buy or renew

Your name, email, billing details and the products you bought. Card and bank details are entered on Stripe's checkout page; we never see or store full card numbers. We keep your license record: license key, email, products, purchase and expiry dates, auto-pay status and renewal rate.

When the program runs

Each time it starts, the program sends our license server your license key or license ID, a scrambled (one-way hashed) identifier made from parts of your computer's hardware, and the program version. Like any internet request, this shows our server your IP address. The program does not send us your session files, bowler lists or results, and it has no tracking or crash reporting.

Tablet scoring

The bowler names, lanes, scores and bracket status needed for tablet scoring pass through our cloud service so they reach the operator's computer. They are cleared when the operator finishes the session.

The Bowlers App page

When an operator turns it on, the session and center name, bowler names and averages, scores, bracket numbers, eliminator rounds and alive/out status are published to a web page that anyone with the session's link or QR code can open. Money, winners and the eliminator's last game are never shown. The page expires 30 minutes after the operator's last update, the operator can take it down at any time, and it is marked so search engines should not list it.

Forms on this website

• Stay in the Loop: name, email and what you're interested in.
• Coupon and "Email Me the Link": your email.
• Reviews: name, organization, email, rating, review text and, if you choose, your license key. Your review appears only if you tick the box allowing it and we approve it. Your email is never shown.

Visiting the website

A simple first-party visit counter records the page, the page you came from, how far you scrolled, and a random ID kept in your browser's local storage, so we can count visits without cookies. Our server also receives your IP address and browser type with each request. We use no advertising trackers or third-party analytics and set no tracking cookies.

Business contact information

We collect publicly listed business contact details for bowling centers, associations and tournament directors from public sources, such as association and center websites, to tell them about our software.

How we use it

To sell, deliver, license and renew the software; to send purchase, license and renewal emails; to provide support; to run tablet scoring, the Bowlers App page and the directory; to stop fraud and license sharing; to improve the website; and to send marketing emails. You can stop marketing emails at any time with the unsubscribe link or by replying "unsubscribe."

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.

Who we share it with

Only the services that run parts of J&K Brackets Pro for us: Stripe (payments and auto-pay), Supabase (database, file storage and server code), Netlify (website hosting), Resend and Yahoo Mail (email), and the directory services listed on the directory page. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights, or as part of a sale of the business.

Bowler information entered by operators

Bowler names and scores in the program are entered and controlled by the operator running the event. For tablet scoring and the Bowlers App page, we handle that information only to provide those features to the operator, not for our own purposes. Questions about a bowler's information should go first to the operator; we will also help if you email us.

Children

This website and our software are for adults who run bowling events. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. Operators may enter youth bowlers' names into the program. If a parent wants a child's name taken off a Bowlers App page, contact the operator or email us and we will help remove it.

How long we keep it

• License and purchase records: while your license is active, and afterwards for as long as we need them for tax, accounting and license history.
• Website form submissions and reviews: until you ask us to delete them, or we no longer need them.
• Tablet scoring data: cleared when the session is finished.
• Bowlers App data: expires 30 minutes after the operator's last update.
• Directory data: as stated on the directory page.
• Unsubscribe lists: kept permanently, so we never email you again.

Security

We use encrypted connections, signed license tokens, hashed device identifiers and access-controlled hosting. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal information, we will tell you as the law requires.

Your choices

Email jkbracketspro@yahoo.com to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. We may keep what we must for tax, accounting or fraud prevention, or to honor an unsubscribe. We will not treat you differently for asking.

Our website does not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, because we do not track visitors across other websites.

We are based in the United States and store information in the United States.

Changes to this notice

If we change this notice, the date at the top changes. If a change materially affects how we use information we already have, we will email customers before it takes effect.
